Dear Supporters and Members,
I was honoured to take over the Chairmanship of our wonderful choir in September. Having been a member for the last 22 years, much of it as publicity officer, I have seen at close hand the great work that my predecessor, Peter, put into ensuring that the choir has a robust future. In his 14 years as Chairman Peter had to contend with multiple changes of Music Director, the Covid pandemic and the need for an aggressive recruitment campaign so that we didn't go the way of many choirs post-Covid. I only hope I can live up to his legacy, and I am very grateful to Peter that he stays on as Concert Secretary.
I hope that you all are putting Thursday 18th December in your diaries as we return to High Cross in Camberley for our annual Christmas Concert. Join us and enjoy a programme that ranges from shows and folk to male voice standards and, of course, a heavy sprinkling of the festive! This year’s concert is raising funds for the Fountain Centre, a local charity supporting cancer patients and their families. So come and enjoy the music, the company and the Christmas spirit while helping us support a wonderful cause.
Book tickets soon as last year we sold out before the day!
Mark Kusionowicz
