We were proud to have been asked by Rushmoor Borough Council to lead the singing at their first ever St.George's Day flag raising ceremony. Led by the mayor of Rushmoor,  Cllr Mara Makunura, and leader of the council, Cllr Gareth Williams the service included a reading by the Mayor's Chaplain. Our contribution included I Vow To Me My Country, Jerusalem, God Save The King and leading the community singing of Land Of Hope And Glory, They'll Always Be An England and Rule Britannia. The chilly wind, grey skies and rain did not put a dampener on the ceremony or the singing! The attendees were also entertained by our old friends Cactus Brass, who were happy that we had an impromptu sing along with their renditions of English Country Garden and a Mary Poppins medley.
