Following last year's success of our "A Pie, a Pint and a Song" taster evening for the Camberley area, this year we organised the "A Pizza, A Pint and a Song" taster evening for the Farnham district at the home of Surrey beer - the Hogs Back Brewery. Unsurprisingly it was an even greater success! We had a superb turnout with 32 men joining with the regular choir members in some workshops run by MD Philip Viveash-Brainch who put everyone through their paces. Around 20 of the new attendees have agreed to come along to a series of classes and rehearsals between now and our summer concert in June. We are sure many, if not all, of those will have so much fun that they become full members. The evening was a great success - with everyone enjoying the songs, the pizzas and the pints! Bob Milton was the lucky winner of a basket of Hogs Back goodies in the raffle, and even donated a bottle of his superb Abbot's Secret cider as another prize (I can confirm its quality as I won it!).
